With a history of about 200 years, and exclusive samples from their personal collection, the Megerian family established the Megerian Carpet Museum in 2014. A rich collection of carpets from Armenia and other countries worldwide are displayed in the museum. During a tour, visitors are exposed to the history and culture of Armenian carpet dyeing and weaving traditions. Visitors also get a chance to see weavers working on their patterns and learn about the history of this ancient craft. Individual carpet weaving courses are available upon request. The doors of the Megerian Carpet Museum are always open to visitors interested in Armenian culture and traditions.
